I plucked a bunch of cucumbers from my papa’s new garden. They’re really good. Better than anything you can find at your old dried up blown out supermarket.

When I started at Euro my friend Ray told me that his friend Kevin worked there and I should say hi to him. Well, we ended up working together a bunch (Kevin and I) and I thought it would be funny to take a pic of us in a meeting and send it to Ray. Eventually one thing led to another and I started taking secret shots of him almost every time we had a meeting together. He had no idea I was doing this, but he’ll probably love it when he sees this post. There were a few times where I thought for sure someone saw me… but I guess not.

Sooo, I haven’t posted about this at all really but I quit my job at Euro over a month ago for a position at Waggener Edstrom. Euro RSCG is filled with a lot of great people and I’m glad I had a chance to work for them, however it just wasn’t a good fit for me. I had only just began thinking about looking for something else when I heard John Weiss was looking for designers to join Studio D. I started talking to John and told him I was interested. Within the same week I was also contacted by Facebook about a position on their Product Design team. I was incredibly flattered and began the interview process with them as well.
Long story short I ended up accepting an offer from Waggener. Facebook would have required relocating and the whole idea of working on just one product wasn’t very appealing to me. Don’t get me wrong, everyone at Facebook was incredibly sincere, talented and a lot of fun to hang out with. The timing for WE was just too perfect, the opportunity for growth and influence were huge and I just had a really good feeling about it.
The team is AMAZING. Seriously, everyone is passionate about what they do and constantly strives to improve the company by making sweet things. There’s so many trails to blaze and I’m so happy I get to be a part of it. So yeah, I am really happy and all I have to say is keep your faces peeled because we’re going to be doing some sweet stuff in the next couple months.

We all had Friday off so we went out on the boat with my parent’s. It was really fun.

Headed to Lincoln City for the weekend. Meeting up with Aaron, Mallory, Blake, Vanessa and Joe. It’s going to be fun. I’ll probably post pix as I take them so check my flickr.

Last night Daniel and I hung out with Ian Broyles; a long time internet friend who was visiting from LA. A bunch of other coolsters hung out as well, Jared Moran, dalas verdugo, anja verdugo, Joshua Jenkins, and uhh… some other people. But I already knew those bozos.

Jessa and I did a little photoshoot for Ali’s digital photography class or something a while back. It was pretty cool. This is one of the cooler shots. She just put it up on FB.

Botanist played their 2nd show on Thursday at Studio Eighty Twenty. Let’s just say they tore some flesh off some faces. This pic is cool too.
